S.O.P.A and P.I.P.A

S.O.P.A and P.I.P.A are proposed legislations, designed to tackle online piracy, with particular emphasis on illegal copies of films and other forms of media hosted on foreign servers. These bills propose that anyone found guilty of streaming copyrighted content without permission 10 or more times within six months, should face up to five years in jail.

If this bills are passed by the Senate, and by the House of Representatives, it will be a big mistake by the U.S.A. This kind of laws exist in countries where the freedom of speech doesn’t exist, like China or Iran. This will not only affect online piracy but the whole internet. Once the American Government have the legal power to shut down sites and control what you say, do or share on the Internet, everything will fall down.
Websites that promote piracy will be shut down, people that will be angry with it will be shut down and eventually everyone in the Internet, will be arrested. This will go on until the whole Internet is ruled by the Government where you can only say what they allow you to say and where you can only see, what they want you to see. Truth will no longer be available, and you will be brain washed. That is called a dictatorship!

Even the word piracy nowadays is completely wrong. What piracy does is to share content all over the world, increasing the number of people that could buy that piracy object. If done right, with the names of the authors, piracy is not harmful but helpful.

Do not let them control us, we should control them!

Think the Truth.
